I wanted to take a moment to thank you for all of
your help. You have no idea the difference you have made
in our lives.
It is much easier to maneuver the wheelchair across the floor
with the new flooring and it is easier to clean up after my
husband’s frequent spills. The weekend get-a-way gave
us all a chance to temporarily forget about how medical changes
have altered our lives and we even were able to see my husband
smile and laugh a little - something he never does anymore.
You gave great advise in regards to talking to the Case Manager
at Magee Rehab about what was happening with my husband.
She had our Doctor’s nurse immediately call me, and
my husband was in to see the doctor yesterday. He has begun
some testing to find out what is going on and has an action
plan in place. My husband and I are both relieved that someone
in the medical community is finally taking his deterioration
seriously. Our Case Manager also got me in touch with the
outpatient Case Manager in case he has any other concerns.
They were truly of great assistance.
